A Lament for Clay Morrow
A Lament for Clay Morrow
From battlefields of Vietnam
To streets and highways of his homeland
Clay Morrow fought
For freedom, family, for glory.
Bloodthirsty Clay
He did not know
Of any other way.
Another brawl, another fight
Another wound, which turned to scar;
But Clay ignored the pain,
Except of the betrayal
Of those who he loved the most
His brotherhood, his darling Gemma
His heart was broken
His soul was crushed
Clay suffered lonely
Heartbroken, wounded, and betrayed
For all his sins he had to die
Without forgiveness, without mercy
Just like roadkill.
